Dominique graduated from SIUE in May 2016 with a Master's in Art Therapy Counseling.  Throughout graduate school Dominique gained a variety of clinical experience including working with pre-school aged children in Head Start using art enrichment, using art therapy with geriatric persons suffering with memory loss, as well as supporting individuals strugging with eating disorders through the use of art therapy.   Post graduation,  she worked at a community mental health agency for two years then at a domestic violence agency for an additional two years.  Dominique obtained her counseling license in the state of Illinois and Missouri during this time.  Dominique is a registered art therapist and is currently working toward becoming a registered play therapist.  She is also a Nationally Certified Counselor.  She has been gardening since an early age and has been incorporating therapeutic techniques with gardening for the past six years with clients.
